Still Waters: American Patchwork
Our Youth Choirs, Arioso, Camerata, and Coro Vivo will bring to our audience a stunning and beautiful collection
of American Choral pieces that use the image of water as a central theme. This concert will consist of folk music pieces, such as "Shenandoah" that celebrate great North American rivers. Also included will be songs of the sea and play songs like "Bring Me Little Water, Sylvie." We will feature gospel pieces, spirituals, and new compositions by American composers. As we are drawn to water for rest, refreshment, and inspiration, we hope this choral presentation will be just that for our guests.
