WELGA
WELGA (strike) is a Filipino American coming-of-age story of a high school teen who dreams of becoming a famous musician while his mother dreams of him graduating first. WELGA explores today's urban educational system and labor rights activism, touching upon the lesser-known legacies of the Filipino agricultural workers who led the 1965 Delano Grape Strike.
