Orphie and the Book of Heroes

Orphie and the Book of Heroes is a one-act musical written by Duquesne Alum, Christopher Dimond. The musical was commissioned by and first performed at the Kennedy Center in February 2014. The Red Masquers Presentation will be the 4th production of Orphie and the Book of Heroes to date.
Orphie and the Book of Heroes follows the adventures of Orphie, a teenage girl, in Ancient Greece. Orphie is on a quest to rescue Homer, the storyteller, and his Book of Heroes. Her quest takes her from the heights of Mt. Olympus to the depths of the Underworld where she faces fantastical creatures and challenges.
