HAT's Riparian Restoration Workshop - Ruby Creek, Metchosin
Join Habitat Acquisition Trust and Dave Polster with Polster Environmental Services for a 2-day Restoration Workshop.
This will be an excellent opportunity to learn habitat restoration techniques and gain hands-on experience with our region's riparian expert.

Thur. Sept. 28th (volunteer community event - see below)
2-DAY HABITAT RESTORATION WORKSHOP
Fri, Sept 29th 9 am - 5 pm Day 1 Classroom-based restoration workshop led by Dave Polster. Location TBA (Metchosin)
Sat, Sept 30th 9 am - 4:30pm pm Day 2 Field-based restoration workshop led by Dave Polster on Ruby Creek.
Cost for 2-day workshop is $100* Pack your own lunch or add $7/day for a bag lunch.

* NOTE: Thur, Sept 28th (the day before the workshop) is a volunteer community event hosted by HAT in which we will be removing invasive plants in the area that the workshop participants will be restoring. Volunteers attending this day only pay $50 for the 2-day workshop (50% discount!) The 28th event runs 10am - 3:30pm. Please contact volunteers@hat.bc.ca to RSVP for the 28th invasive plant removal day on Ruby Creek.
