Texas Book Festival presents Dan Rather
We're thrilled to announce we're launching Dan Rather's highly anticipated new book, WHAT UNITES US: REFLECTIONS ON PATRIOTISM, at the 2017 Texas Book Festival Weekend! Join us as Rather speaks about the book for the first time - days before the book's national release!
"I find myself thinking deeply about what it means to love America, as I surely do."
At a moment of crisis over our national identity, Dan Rather has been reflectingand writing passionately almost every day on social mediaabout the world we live in, what our core ideals have been and should be, and what it means to be an American. Now, in a collection of wholly original essays, the venerated television journalist celebrates our shared values and reminds us about what matters most in our great country. Join us as Rather talks with Evan Smith, CEO of The Texas Tribune and host of KLRU's Overheard with Evan Smith, about his new book and our American condition.
