Romantasy Cabaret's Darkly Decadent is set to haunt and thrill with intimate, wicked delights
Prepare to be spellbound with an evening of wickedly decadent cabaret brought to you by Phoenix's original naughty lil vaudeville, Romantasy Cabaret. Their annual Halloween production, Darkly Decadent, takes place October 21, in time to kick off Halloween festivities. The ghoulish affair takes place at Club Red Theaters in Mesa, Arizona.
Each Romantasy Cabaret show combines sensational dance ensembles, vibrant cabaret acts, silly vaudeville and slapstick vignettes as well as tantalizing burlesque numbers. Enjoy jaw-dropping aerial displays, low brow comedy sketches, brilliant fire acts and oldey-timey cabaret numbers that hearken back to eras gone by.
Seating is in tiers with VIP Front Row offering the best view of the show, Reserved Seating directly behind VIP with great views and General Admission seat-yourself seating behind those two sections. Rest assured that every seat offers a great unobstructed view of the magic on stage. The venue has an excellent sound system, ample free parking and offers a full bar with drink specials throughout the night. A food merchant is also typically on site. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 p.m. to be seated before the show begins, out of respect for the performers on stage and the patrons enjoying the show. The Halloween-themed show kicks off at 8:30pm. Advance purchase of tickets is recommended as seats do sell out for these productions
The razzle-dazzle of the evening isnt limited to the cast alone. Fans are encouraged to participate in the experience by dressing up in costumes to add to the festive atmosphere of this macabre occasion. In fact, some show numbers are audience-interactive and include willing audience participants, so attendees should look their dapper-best when attending this soirée. And because photographing or recording the show is strictly prohibited, the cast comes out after curtain call for meet and greet photo opportunities with fans.

Romantasy Cabaret has earned numerous awards such as Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix for Best Vaudeville Entertainment 2009, runner up for Best Local Performing Art Troupe by East Valley Tribune in 2011, and Best Performance Troupe by the City of Tempe for 2012 and 2014. VaVaVoom, the showgirls of Romantasy Cabaret, won 2nd place for Best Performance, Group/Duo Category at the Albuquerque Burlesque and Sideshow Spectacular in 2012 as well as Best Group at Arizona Burlesque Festival in 2015.
Studio VaVaVoom, the learning hub for many of the cast members won Phoenix Magazines Best of the Valley 2016 for Best Place for Burlesque Classes and Best Dance Teachers 2017 by Expertise.
