Tomes of Terror: Lenore

This Halloween PMRP is once again reaching back to ancient castles, creeping ghosts and murderous madmen with Tomes of Terror: Lenore! featuring three chilling tales:

Edith Nesbits Hurst of Hurstcote,
A doctor visits friends at Hurstcote to put old tensions to rest, but she is not the only one haunted by the past in this Victorian ghost story.

Edgar Allan Poes The Premature Burial,
Consumed with terror that he will be buried alive, the obsessive narrator tells his doctors about several horrifying real-life cases of vivisepulture.

Edgar Allan Poes Hop Frog,
A queen of a small country crosses paths with Hop-Frog, the jester in the court of a greedy, selfish king, and discovers the horrible secrets hidden in the palace...and how they will be avenged.

The show will also feature a reading of the poem Lenore.

PMRP shows are presented in the style of the Golden Age of Radio with actors in front of mics and sound effects created live on stage!

The Saturday October 28th performance will have a costume contest with prizes!

And we'll have our usual assortment of fancy and retro sodas and candies!
