"NY State of Mind" Fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy Victims
Hurricane Sandy, the largest hurricane to form in the Atlantic Basin on record, recently hit the East Coast, leaving millions affected by widespread flooding and power outages. Many lost their homes and even their lives in this deadly storm. Originally from Long Island, New York, Ron Eyester, executive chef and owner of Rosebud and The Family Dog, and Keith Schroeder, executive chef of High Road Craft Ice Cream & Sorbet, were devastated by the destruction that Sandy left behind, and in an effort to give back, they are hosting a fundraiser benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims.
On Saturday, February 2nd, 2012, guests will enjoy a New York inspired night of dinner and live music under a heated tent at High Road. New York favorites, such as pastrami sandwiches, chicken parmesan, pizza, hot dogs and other New York inspired items will be spread throughout, along with a variety of cocktails, including a Long Island Iced Tea signature drink. Fellow New Yorker, radio personality Mara Davis will emcee the event, where 100% of the total sales of the night will be donated to benefit the families affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Tickets to the event will be $65, and include dinner, as well as a two complimentary drink tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the door, the day of the event, as well as through Brown Paper Tickets. For more information please call Katherine McIntosh at 770.503.6063.
