Survival and Transformation: Mercy Corps and Doctors Without Borders on the Refugee Crisis
24 people are displaced every minute around the world and theres little evidence this will stop or even abate in the near future. Join us for a discussion of the refugee crisis with leaders and field staff from both Mercy Corps and Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF). This moderated discussion will cover the current context and the distinctly different and essential ways in which both organizations are addressing urgent and long term needs to those fleeing their homes for safety.
Be sure to check out the MSF exhibit Forced From Home in Pioneer Courthouse Square, open October 16-22 from 9 am - 5 pm.
