Felting a Ruffled Scarf

Wool is an amazing resource! Use merino wool (very fine), silk, water and soap to create a one of a kind felted ruffle scarf in this two hour class. Wool felts (fibers interlocking to form a grid) amazingly fast with warm water, a little soap, and gentle agitation into a lightweight but durable fabric. The silk will give this fabric drape and shine. Many colors are available to make this scarf completely "you!" Please note that you will be standing nearly the whole class time, so please wear comfortable shoes. If you have elbow or shoulder issues - there is some rolling of a largish towel wrapped pool noodle back and forth. All materials will be provided.

Please note our cancellation policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. There is no refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we are happy to offer a full refund or get you scheduled for the next class.
