Morris Arboretum Tree Tour
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2017 2PM-4PM
Tree Adventure Tour
Join the Explorers club as we learn about the 3 main parts of the tree: Roots, Bark and Leaves. The focus is on the job or responsibility each part of the tree has to keep the tree healthy, and then our own job/responsibilities to help trees thrive (avoid compacting soil, not to pick leaves, carve names into the bark, etc.)
This guided tour lasts approximately one hour, and concludes at the Out on a Limb treehouse exhibit, which families can spend at least another 20-30 minutes exploring on their own.
Meet at the terrace in front of the Visitor Center at the Morris Arboretum.
The Chestnut Hill Explorers Club is our monthly series of fun-filled activities for members with kids. Free for CH Conservancy members $15 for non-member families
