Matthew Human and the Human Revolution

Being a long time fan of dance music and originallyinspired by bands like The Grateful Dead, Phish, and String Cheese Incident, Matthew Humanoriginallystarted his country-flavored jamband The Human Revolution in 2003. Since then the band has toured all over the western hemisphere and hosted many members and lineups, but it wasnt until 2012 while on tour with Erik Larsen, Sam Frey, and Skijah Indigo that the current incarnation of the band was solidified. While the live shows feature the same fun,upbeat, and catchy original songs of frontman Matthew Human over 100 original songs, The Human Revolution is about allowing the music to explore new realms and creating a groove that keeps the audiencedancingand exploring wild new spaces.

The current lineup features the long-time Matthew Human rhythm section of Sam Frey (bass) and Skijah Indigo on drums, with the addition of guitarist Erik Larsen and keys man Dean Angermeier, both of Ashland, Oregons premier jamband Liquid.
