Viking dinner with Leif Erikson on October 15, 2017, at 5PM
Celebrating our Viking heritage and Leif Erikson Day Be a Viking, eat like a Viking, tell stories like a Viking at the hall named after the first Viking in Vinland, Leif Erikson!

Bring the family! Kids 6-13 are $10 with kids under 5 free! Tickets also available in the Hall office, 206-783-1274 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10AM-3PM
Viking dress is encouraged, but please leave the horned helmets at home if possible as the Vikings didn't use horns except to make spoons, drinking cups, and other decorative items! Who knows maybe there will be a prize for best Viking!
Traditional Viking stories, games, entertainment and skåls ! Skåls to your health and others featuring Bart Brashers Learn about the Viking culture, attire, seafaring, and more from Nathan Salmon Sagas told in honor the mighty with traditional story telling by Kristina Stombo Featuring Viking games of chess, fox and geese, draughts, hnefatafl, and others! Bring a riddle for us to solve!
Eat and drink like a Viking including roasted pig (pork tenderloin) and tasty vegetables, variety of cheeses and bread, fruit with special apple dessert, mead, ODIN beer, and more! No potatoes yet and no forks which hadn't been invented yet! Bring your carved horn spoon if you want to make one for the event.
Viking items will be offered at a silent auction ! Remember to bring your gold, silver, or check! Proceeds benefit Leif Erikson Hall and its GoFundMe repairs and upgrades.
