The Coast to Coast tour 2017 featuring Dan Weber & Alice Howe!
Dan Weber is an Award Winning Folk & Americana songwriter who grew up on the East coast in Rochester, NY and after a stint as a Park Ranger in Utahs Canyonlands National Park, relocated to the Pacific Northwest in Vancouver, WA.

Alice Howes hometown is in Boston, MA, but she recently spent several formative years in Seattle, WA immersing herself in the music scene and culture of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

Together theyve paired up to launch the Coast to Coast tour, a show of original songs with some Traditional favorites, blending their experiences, songs, harmonies, and their shared geographies---Coast to Coast!

Dan Weber:

Dan Weber tours nationally and has won numerous awards, from the renowned Kerrville New Folk Competition to the prestigious Woody Guthrie and Winfield, Kansas New Songs Contests. Legendary Folk troubadour Ramblin Jack Elliott said, I love Dans songs and he tells really good stories.

On stage, his upbeat performances and hilarious stories combine to form a captivating stage presence that has been winning over audiences at festivals and venues across the country. His songs have been described as Guthrie-esque and reminiscent of early John Prine and A rare combination of wit, emotion and Harry Chapin-esque imagery and the UKs Maverick Magazine said: 4 Stars: The touch of a true Master Craftsman songwriter.

Alice Howe:

At once timeless and original, Boston native Alice Howe joins an impeccably tuned voice with her crafted poetry. A lifelong songwriter, Alice's musical sensibility lies in '60s folk and '70s Southern California songwriters, with comparisons drawn to the pure, distilled sounds of Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell.

As a performer Alice is sure-footed and captivating, familiar to her audience from the very first song. "How can a singer-songwriter have a voice like a broken angel's bell and write songs that could be a week or a hundred years old all at once? Alice Howe, that's how." Vance Gilbert

March 2017 brought the release of Alice's newest EP, "You've Been Away So Long"recorded in Seattle, WA with an emphasis on her crystal-clear vocals and it traces Alices years in the Pacific Northwest. "You've Been Away So Long" is a cross-country journey through the matters of the heart.
