2017 Collection of One Acts

The Eden Prairie Players Collection of One Acts is now in its thirteenth year! An annual favorite among theatergoers in Eden Prairie and the neighboring communities, the Collection brings a variety of short plays, comedies and dramas, to Riley-Jacques Barn in beautiful Riley Lake Park.

For 2017 we are presenting a line-up of six new, unpublished plays. We have been including unpublished work in the mix for several years now, and we're thrilled to be able to showcase fresh playwriting talent in this way. We chose these six plays from a field of 300 submissions, reviewed by a group of dedicated volunteers. We take the top twenty or so plays from that process and do a day-long, live table reading to get a better feel for what they are like when performed, and make our final choices from that set. We're really excited about this year's selections!

We are continuing the popular premium seating option this year. For only a few dollars extra you can have a seat with more padding that is front and center. (See pricing for details)

Light refreshments are served 1/2 hour before the show starts and during intermission.

We cannot serve alcohol, but YOU are allowed to bring your own beer or wine beverages to enjoy during the production.

Order early as the seating available is limited and some performances are likely to sell out!
