Solidao
Inspired by the origin of Portuguese Fado music, the Neutral Mask canon, and the modern legacy of Japanese Butoh, this original play is an offering of and for our internal passage from isolation to surrender, from near-death to life. Solidão is the story of one woman's solitary life on an abandoned island in the persistent shadows of death, and the sometimes dark, sometimes comical spirit creatures from other worlds who illuminate her journey.
