"Sacred Tranquility: Music for the Soul"
Prepare to be transported to another time and place, as Voci di Sorelle, San Antonio's premier womens vocal ensemble welcomes Spring with their final concert of the 2007-2008 season, Sacred Tranquility: Music for the Soul on Sunday, April 13 at University United Methodist Church. The concert will feature soul-satisfying selections of all a cappella music ranging from the ethereal songs of German mystic, Hildegard of Bingen, and the rich harmonies of Russian Orthodox melodies, to joyous Irish mouth music. Much of the music has never before been performed in San Antonio. A Meet the Artists reception will be held immediately following the performance and is open to all in attendance.
