THE ARTIST'S WAY with Susane Lee
October 11-November 15, 2017, Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Based on the classic book by Julia Cameron, this class is designed to discover and recover your creative self. Each week is dedicated to a new task, while committing to the Morning Pages and your Artists Date. This is your own personal journey, with real, proven tools to help unblock and prioritize creativity in your lives, in a safe and supportive environment. This 12-week program is divided into six weeks in the fall and resumes for six weeks in the winter. As someone who has spent a lifetime in the arts, I encourage having a support system, and tangible, proven tools to help the artist within grow.
BIO Susane Lee started her writing career in television, as a Writer and Producer of documentaries for PBS in Boston and NYC, and is a recipient of a PBS Communications Award. Recently a playwright, she has written and directed many plays for Hudson Warehouse, a classical theater company in its 14th year, where she is the Assistant Artistic Director. Susane is a recipient of a NYFA Fellowship for Nonfiction, the Urban Artist Fellowship for Fiction, and has published a memoir in More Magazine. Susane recently joined New York Writers Workshop. She is also a Lifetime Member of The Writers Guild of America, East.
