Cabaret singer Cindy Firing recently performed her solo cabaret show, "Brass Ring," at Dino's Backstage in Philadelphia. The show originated in Chicago as part of the Andrew Lidgus Salon Series. She looks forward to returning to Dino's this year, and to making her New York cabaret debut.
A member of the Chicago Cabaret Professionals (CPP), Cindy has had the pleasure of appearing at Davenports in Chicago, as well as Jazz at the Bistro and KDHX Stage in St. Louis. The last two summers, she was invited to participate in the acclaimed St. Louis Cabaret Conference where she was mentored by such luminaries as Faith Prince, Marilyn Maye, Karen Mason, and Ann Hampton Callaway.
Founder of "Hush," Cindy created a cabaret series dedicated to creating intimate cabaret evenings showcasing everything from abridged operas to revues of the Great American Songbook, always with a unique perspective. Critics agreed it was nothing to keep quiet about!
