John Mark Nelson's "Four Days Away" album release concert
Join us on September 16th for a special pop-up event at Everwood to help John Mark Nelson celebrate the release of his latest album, Four Days Away. We'll enjoy hearing new tunes in the very barn they were recorded in, along with a conversation with John Mark about how it all came together. Hope you can pack a picnic basket and enjoy the music with us.
In late May, 2017, John Mark Nelson brought a few microphones and guitars to Everwood Farmstead for an artist retreat. Starting totally from scratch, he challenged himself to write and record an album. Each song was recorded using just two microphones, a few instruments and a Princeton amp. After four beautiful summer days and nights in the barn, his new album Four Days Away came to life.
Everwood's Pay-What-You-Can ticket price is simple choose your ticket price from the list above.
Please dress accordingly for the weather, including sensible footwear for parking in a field. The performance will be held regardless of temperature and weather condition and Everwood is not able to provide a refund for any reason.
Even though our events are held in a casual, 100 year old barn, our performances are presented for a mature audience. We don't define maturity by age but rather by one's ability to remain in one's seat and appreciate the performance. For the benefit of all guests, kindly take that into consideration when deciding whether to bring a young person with you.
