Yoga & Poetry with D. Nurkse
This event will take place at the Brooklyn Book Festival main stage at Borough Hall, Brooklyn.
Imagine starting your yoga class with the wise words of your instructor, who calls out a pose or two, and the pose is followed by a poem read live by its author. This month's poet will be D. Nurkse, the author of numerous collections of poetry, including "Love in the Last Days: After Tristan and Iseult" (2017).
Please bring your own yoga mat. Doors open at 9:30 am. Class starts at 10:00 am sharp.
