EDSD & Lot 8 present "Le Grand Ole Boucherie and Seafood Boil"
What happens when you take a hog roast and decide to mash it up with a seafood boil?
On September 10th, we will have an answer to that delicious question when Eating and Drinking in San Diego, brings together Eco Caters, Grand Ole BBQ y Asado, Mastiff Sausage Co, and Lola 55 to converge on Lot 8 in Mission Valley for the most awesomest time!
Local chef Nick Brune will man the pots and do his take on a low country boil. Andy Harris of Grand Ole BBQ will be smoking pork for 17 hours, while Mastiff will bring their A-Game when it comes to sausage. We also invited new kid Drew Bent of Lola 55, fresh from his stint at Noma Tulum, to wow your taste buds.
Along with all these savages, we will also have a cash bar and invited our friends at Henebery to mix cocktails and pour shots of their locally distilled whiskey. Thorn Brewing, Bay City and Boochcraft will be bringing beer and booch.
Trevor McSpadden, who you may know from his standing date at Grand Ole BBQ on the first Saturday of the month, will be providing us tunes.
Our very good friends and frequent collaborators, Hoppy Beer Hoppy Life will have a booth there, selling all their rad beer gear. So bring your cash and credit cards and walk away looking cooler than a bay breeze.
We will probably be adding more things as we move along, because this will be something that people will want to be a part of. So more announcements soon...but in the meantime, buy these tickets or live with FOMO and regret.
Try to UBER/Lyft/Cab there...parking is limited so carpool, if you must drive -- we want you to arrive alive.
Added love for this event:
Cameron Pryor or California Wild Ales will bring two seasonal kegs for us! Go support them...they're in Sorrento Valley and their beer is delicious.
