O.C.A. is pleased to present an inspiring evening of Afro world beat music and dance performed by renowned Nigerian percussionist Onye Onyemaechi and his band The Messengers!
Onye is a celebrated virtuoso of African rhythm music who creates original compositions that blend tribal rhythms with contemporary music influences. His multicultural blend of hypnotic trance-dance music inspires and uplifts audiences around the world to celebrate diversity and awaken the native joy of the soul. Onye has a rich background world-wide as a performing musician, educator, inspirational speaker and author who pioneered the popular drum circles, using drum and ethnic dance to bring communities together.
