DRYPP (drip)
DRYPP (drip) is a response to the global initiatives sweeping the planet toward separatism and isolation as a human species. With movement and media, DRYPP attempts to draw parallels between this small, yet dynamic and intricate experience of human time with the grand scope of geological time, utilizing footage shot in remote areas above the arctic circle and in deep underground caverns. Set to a violin concert by composer Magnar Åm and a supporting soundscape, the piece is a reminder that this moment in time is just a "drip" in the vast narrative of human existence.
