Bill Davie - "Raise Your Heart"
Live DVD/CD Release Celebration Featuring Bill Davie, Kat Eggleston and Jim Page. The concert will feature Davie performing songs from all of his albums. There will also be solo sets by Eggleston and Page.
"These two songwriter/performers are the finest I've seen in my thirty year career, and they've both been touchstones for me," says Davie. "I feel very lucky to have had them join me on the new album, and at this celebration too."
BILL DAVIE - "There must be something about the Northwest that sets its creative artists apart. There's Tom Robbins in the book world and Patty Warashina in the visual arts. As for folk music, there's Bill Davie. . ." - Ken Hunt - Seattle Times
Bill Davie has been playing and singing since he was three years old, when his Dad bought he and his sister plastic ukuleles. He began writing songs at age 11. His musical training, other than singing in school choirs, has been from watching the hands and eyes of those players he's admired over the years, beginning with his Dad and then his sister. He has produced six recordings of his original songs, five self-published books of poetry, and continues to be an active writer and performer at clubs, colleges, concert halls and festivals, mostly in the Pacific Northwest.

KAT EGGLESTON - "Singer-songwriter Kat Eggleston is blessed with an embarrassment of talents. Her voice is pure, emotive, and immediately recognizable; she is a virtuoso guitarist and hammer dulcimer player; and her songs blend vivid, often gripping, imagery with memorable lyrical melodies." - Michael Parrish - Dirty Linen

JIM PAGE - Jim Page has been on the scene for more than twenty years and his reputation continues to grow. He has shared the stage with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Dan Bern, Michelle Shocked, Leftover Salmon, Mickey Hart, J.J. Cale, Robert Hunter, Chuck Brodsky, and John Hammond. His songs have been performed by Christy Moore, Michael Hedges, John Trudell, The Doobie Brothers, Joanne Rand, Casey Neill, and (yes) David Soul.
"Jim's been writing great topical songs for as long as I can remember, bringing his acute wit and wry humor to a host of subjects that can really use both. In the tradition of Woody and Dylan, he cuts right to the heart with music you actually enjoy listening to. I'm a longtime admirer."
- Bonnie Raitt
