Jon Pousette Dart duo at The Castle on Charles
Spanning a decades long career with the Jon Pousette-Dart Band and many albums, fans will know his hits from "Amnesia" to "May you Dance." Pousette-Dart carved a place in the landscape of American music in the 1970s as a mainstay of album radio, a favorite on the college circuit, and one of the busiest touring groups in the US touring with The Byrds, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, The Eagles, James Taylor, The J. Geils Band, Eddie Money, Manfred Mann, Jonathan Edwards, Emmylou Harris, Gary Wright, Robert Palmer, Randy Newman, Journey, Billy Joel, and many more including the Frampton Comes Alive tour and the Yes Fragile tour playing arenas from Coast to Coast.
Jon Pousette-Dart now puts on a stunning performance as a duo... he is said to be "a gilded tenor and a smooth hand on guitar. His compositions brim with optimism, introspection and subtle grace."
The Castle on Charles is an amazing venue for an intimate concert with incredible acoustics. A former church with it's signature 40 foot tower, interior arches, large stone fireplace, cathedral ceiling with iron lanterns, iron chandeliers and intricate woodwork, The Castle is inspirational in itself, is open for private rental and has hosted many outstanding concerts in the past few years since opening.
A food station will be available - as well as drinks and wine from The Castle's Tavern - starting at 6pm. Step up to the station for a cheese board, salad, and/or bowl of Castle beef stew over rice! Show is 7:30 to 10pm. Seating is limited and this show is expected to sell out so get your tickets in advance.
