Puget Sound Ski for Light presents its fundraising dinner and dance for Leif Erikson Hall
An amazing night of dinner, dancing, and fundraising with fabulous open-fire grilled salmon and cod!
Puget Sound Ski for Light presents its fundraising dinner and dance for Leif Erikson Hall, home of Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Sons of Norway. Saturday, September 23, starting at 6PM with a social half hour followed by 6:30 dinner and silent auction, then dancing to the music of Nordic Reflections with Ione Bard. The event is at Leif Erikson Hall, 2245 NW 57th Street, Seattle WA 98107. Parking is free this night only at Banner Bank next door! Tusen takk!
The meal features open-fire grilled salmon and cod for just $25 and includes a traditional Norwegian dessert. All proceeds go to the repair and upgrade of Leif Erikson Hall which is undergoing improvements and repairs during the next year. Puget Sound Ski for light is a local chapter of an international organization which provides a pleasurable winter experience for cross-country ski instruction and guidance to visually and mobility impaired individuals. The group meets at the Sons of Norway Trollhaugen Recreation Area near Stampede Pass every other Saturday through the winter. This program has been in existence since 1976. This dinner and dance is a thank you for the support of Leif Erikson Hall and Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001 for many years. Please join us for a terrific celebration by dining and dancing with us on September 23 at Leif Erikson Hall.
