Ophelia's Rope Teaches Improv
Ever been trapped on stage when the show has gone horribly awry and no one knows how to get it back on track? Improv can help with that! Plus it's just a lot of fun!
Come have the lovely ladies of Ophelia's Rope (and long time Cone Man Running affiliates) teach you the basics of improv.
Participants will acquire improvisational skills through games, exercises, activities and self-exploration designed to encourage learning while having fun. These courses will provide you new tools to add to yourimprov/acting toolbox. You will learn to build upon your scene partners' offers, practice active listening, use the environment, make your fellow improviser look good, emotionally commit, create strong new characters, explore actors' instruments, learn not to worry and have fun!
Workshops are on Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm with a show/improv jam session where you will get to perform the following Sunday at the Beacon and show what you learned!
