Sixteen years ago Artistic Director Emeritus Jerry Kracht and the Board of the Second City Chamber Series imagined an investment in the future of chamber music and an investment in the youth of Pierce County. The Young Chamber Players was born and will now be turning fifteen years old! That calls for a party-and a fundraiser!
The evening will include a wide array of hors d'oeuvres, beverages, a very special silent auction, plus an opportunity to support coming generations of chamber musicians with your direct contribution.
You won't want to miss bidding on a Commencement Bay cruise in an electric yacht, golf at Canterwood, or dinner prepared by our Board President and served at the home of our Artistic Director. How about a wine tasting in an elegant condo home overlooking Commencement Bay, featuring Patrick, the Wine Steward from Metropolitan Market and hors d'oeuvres prepared by Derek, Chef/Owner of The Table restaurant? There will be more equally excellent experiences available in the silent auction.
Two alumni of the early years of the YCP, violinist Maggie Booher, and violist Aaron Conitz return to Second City Chamber Series, this time not as students, but as young professionals in the world of classical music. Join us as Aaron and Maggie perform for us and tell us about what the YCP has meant to them!
