Marga Gomez's "Los Big Names Unplugged: Just the Story and the Teller"
Before opening Off-Broadway Marga Gomez will perform the "unplugged" version of her critically acclaimed solo play Los Big Names for seven shows only at The Marsh before it opens Off Broadway at the 47th St theater in April. No set, no special effects, just the story and the teller. Los Big Names is a loving and lethal tour-de force tribute to Marga's show-biz parents.
As a stand-up comedian Marga has performed nationally in concert, universities, and at Pride events as well as on the high seas with Olivia cruises. She has appeared on HBO's Comic Relief, Showtime's Latino Laugh Festival, Comedy Central's Out There and the PBS series In The Life. As an actress Marga has joined the casts of The Vagina Monologues several times. Marga's film and television credits include HBO's Tracy Takes on, Sphere, and Batman Forever
