Jumpin' January Weekends!
Three amazing one-person plays that entertain, compel, amuse and touch the heart.
PASS MY IMPERFECTIONS LIGHTLY BY: The Story of Mary Todd Lincoln, by Vaughn McBride, performed by Patty Stephens. For all her faults, Mary Todd was the first First Lady. Her husband's rise to President of the U.S., the horrors of his death and her own confinement in an insane asylum are powerfully relived by an exasperating, loving, pushy, flirtatious, manipulating, quiet and unpredictable woman - not always likable and therefore never dull.
UNCONDITIONAL is soloist Dustin Loehr's first full length show. Loehr employs his dance background in the weaving of autobiography and myth, revealing what it means to be a male dancer and creative thinker in the 21st century. Intimate yet universal, fact and fairytale, UNCONDITIONAL engages audience members in a performance outside of theatre and beyond dance.
LOUNGE is a one-person show that explores the stories and the history of lounge singing in a modern age. The show is a compilation of theatre, lounge singing, and story telling, by award winning playwright/performer and lounge singer Raymond King Shurtz.
