In CenterStage's 5th concert of new musical theatre songs, we are excited to present an evening of songs by fresh, edgy composer/lyricist Joe Iconis. Quirky, introspective, biting, and often hilarious, the tunes in this cabaret will be performed by several of the Front Range's most talented youth actors. It's also the first public performance in CSTC's new black box space at Koko Plaza in the heart of Downtown Louisville -- which promises to be one of the most happening live performance venues in the area over the next few years. 40 Degrees North is unparalleled along the 40th parallel!
Always raw and real, Joe Iconis is a New York stalwart, whose tunes are often featured at prominent cabaret venues, and he is also the writer behind musicals like The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love, Broadway Bounty Hunter, and Things to Ruin. CenterStage is thrilled to present the regional premiere of Iconis' musical Be More Chill this winter, and we can't wait to introduce his music to a wider Colorado audience.
Note: Contains adult language. Recommended for audiences 14 and older.
