Bats, Beer & Bluegrass is a unique concert fundraising event for SCCi. It has something for everyone outdoor enthusiasts, craft beer lovers, and bluegrass fans! Last years event sold out and raised over $20,000 for SCCi's Stewardship Endowment Fund, which helps us maintain our preserves forever.
This years event will be even more exciting than ever with TWO local bluegrass favorites performing on stage in front of the breathtaking opening to Fricks Cave.
Tickets include dinner from local favorite, Pigeon Mountain Grill, who will be serving up some amazing slow-smoked BBQ, produced with only local, grass fed meat. A smoked portobello mushroom will be offered for our vegetarian guests. Regional craft beer will be sold by the bottle.
Event schedule:
4:30PM Join us for beer happy hour before the show!
5:00PM Slim Pickins takes the stage.
6:00PM Dinner is served.
6:30PM Barefoot Nellie & Co. takes the stage.
8:00PM Bat flight begins (bats willing, of course!)
Very Important Details:
Fricks Preserve is a nature preserve and the property remains in its natural state. No changes are being made to the property. You assume all risks.
Surfaces are natural and may be rough. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking on uneven surfaces.
No outside food or alcohol allowed. Valid government ID required for beer purchase.
Firearms are prohibited except when carried by law enforcement officers.
No camping on site for this event.

Thank you for your question. Children 5 years old and under may attend with a paid adult. We have added a low ticket price for children 6-12 to cover food costs. |
