How long is the wait in the emergency room--Ive heard it can take hours to be seen by a doctor? What is the quality of the doctors and nurses? Does the hospital offer the specialties I may need? Hospital stays are expensivewhy is that? Is there a difference in care between for-profit and non-profit hospitals? You will get answers to these questions and you will also learn about the AG Community Hospital and the services it provides. Lean about its specialties and certifications; its doctors and nurses, how its operations and capital improvements are funded, its plans for expansion to meet increasing patient loads, and its role as a community hospital. You will also be led on tour of the emergency department, the acute rehabilitation unit, the imaging department, the chapel and the healing garden. The class will be broken into two groups for the tour portion. Hospital staff will handle sign in and will issue visitor passes.
