Join Jim Colletti (artist manager and owner of The Listening Room Phoenix), Michael Zimmerlick (President of 80/20 Records) and Danny Torgersen (Front-man for Captain Squeegee) for a panel discussion about the dos and donts of booking and some new strategies for planning a tour.
Michael Zimmerlich (Founder of 80/20 Records) Michael is the President and Founder of 80/20 Records, an independent record label that offers 80% royalties to artists. With over 9 years of experience in the music industry Michael has been involved with 14 album releases as well as several music videos. The artists hes personally represented have extensively toured the U.S. and have opened for acts such as George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Calexico, Karmin, Maroon 5, Mother Mother, Alien Ant Farm, MR MS, Animal Collective and Beck.
Danny Torgersen (Lead singer of Captain Squeegee) Danny has been performing trumpet professionally since 2002. Coming out of high school marching band and into the college jazz circuit he was quickly assimilated into the Arizona music scene playing with virtually every horn section in various genres of Rock, Indie, Reggae, Hip-hop, Latin, and Fusion. Hes appeared on stage with acts such as Weezer, Authority Zero, and toured with Badfish, Fayuca, and Captain Squeegee (including frontman) performing in total over 2,000 shows.
