Bindlestiff Studio proudly presents Stories High XVII - the culmination of our long-running annual page-to-stage workshop series which opens Aug 31, thru Sept 16.

See a new crop of Bindlestiff artists show off their talents. From the page to the stage, Stories High XVII features six one act plays, written/directed/performed by new and veteran Bindlestiff artists:
"Sounding Heartbeats" by Sofia Chanco; directed by Melanie Elvena.
"Catching Feelings" by Manny Cabrera; directed by Mary Grace Burns
"Charlie Don't Die" by Ed Mabasa; directed by Juan Berumen.
"The Reverie Technician" by Thomas Paras; directed by Judith Ferrer.
"Common Ground" by Lauren Lola; directed by Tim Berteaux.
"Choices" by Caroline Calderon; co-directed by Christina Tolentino and Gabriel Manalang.

About Bindlestiff Studio: Originally opened in 1989, Bindlestiff Studio became the only permanent, community-based performing arts venue in the nation dedicated to showcasing Filipino American and Pilipino artists. Bindlestiff Studio provides the often under-served Filipino American community access to diverse offerings in theatrical productions, music and film festivals, workshops in directing, production, acting, stand-up comedy, and writing, as well as a children and youth theater programs.
We are one of the proud institutions of the newly christened SoMa Pilipinas Cultural District.
