Tap Fest Concert
L.A. Tap Fest All-Star Tap Concert, directed by Emmy Award Winner Jason Samuels Smith, and co-directed by Cathie Nicholas, features Master's of Tap, DADA's Tap Ensemble and LA Tap Fest participants.
Get ready to see some serious flaps, cramprolls, paradiddles, riff walks, shuffle ball changes, time steps and maybe even some shim sham shimmies as the Debbie Allen Dance Academy presents its annual L.A. Tap Fest All-Star Concert.
Jason Samuels Smith, the youngest tapper ever to perform the lead on Broadway in Savion Glover's Tony Award-winning "Bring In 'Da Noise, Bring In 'Da Funk," directs the stellar U.S. and international lineup, along with Cathie Nicholas, the granddaughter of Fayard Nicholas of the legendary Nicholas Brothers.
