A group of female friends spend a weekend away together in an attempt to re-establish the intimacy shared by their younger selves.

Sofia Alvarez is a playwright and screenwriter. Her play, Friend Art was produced by Second Stage Uptown in the Spring of 2016. Her musical adaptation (with composer Daniel Roland Tierney) of William Steigs classic childrens book Amos & Boris will premiere at South Coast Rep in 2018. She recently wrote the screenplay for Jenny Hans bestselling novel, To All the Boys Ive Loved Before, which is filming now. She teaches in the department of dramatic writing at NYU Tisch and is a frequent contributor to Cherry Bombe Magazine. She is a graduate of Bennington College and The Juilliard Schools Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program. She has served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Maggie Burrows is a New York based film and stage director. Recent credits include: LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS (Northern Stage), CONDOLENCES (short film) and SPACEBAR (The Wild Project). Select assistant/associate director work: Daniel Aukin, Daniel Sullivan and Phyllida Lloyd. Maggie is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, a recipient of the World Performance Project Grant at Yale and a nominee for the Sudler Prize for Excellence in the Arts. Upcoming: Associate Director to Bart Sher on MY FAIR LADY, curating a female director-driven reading series called PUBLICREADS, and a new musical, DEVOTION.
