Taught by two incredible Bellegarde bakers--Morgan Angelle and Bodie Manly--in this pizza workshop we will discuss the ingredients, history, tools, and processes that create pizza (bread) and flour. We will learn to produce incredible, healthy, and flavorful pizza with no-tech equipment and freshly milled, whole grain flour. Three pizzas will be baked in class, and one pizza dough will be sent home with students for baking the following day. A light lunch will be provided.
In this class we will be baking:
Classic Neapolitan Pizza
Durum and Heirloom Polenta Pizza
Pizza Al Taglio (deep dish style pizza), with freshly made fennel+garlic sausage
Classic Neapolitan Pizza (to take home)
