Thistle Theatre Presents: Auntie Lenas African Stories
Auntie Lena and her friend Possum tell three stories of friendship from Africa. Jackal loves to trick his friend Hare in Jackals Favorite Game. The Monkeys Heart is a trickster story of a friendship betrayed, and a new friendship is explored in Why Frog and Snake Never Play Together.
Actor/singer/storyteller Val Thomas-Matson plays Auntie Lena featuring the music and songs of Sue Ennis . Brian Kooser designed and built the tabletop Bunraku puppets assisted by Jean Enticknap.
