The Honey Dewdrops Sept. 24th @ 4:00pm
On Sunday, September 24, at 4 p.m., Forty Acres cordially invites you all to the Five Oaks clubhouse to enjoy the sweet sounds of The Honey Dewdrops.
The closeness of sound and the music compatibility that Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, collectively known as The Honey Dewdrops, possess is unmistakable.
Comparisons to the music of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are inevitable. That's because this is a marriage of matrimony and music.
Their musical chemistry is so vivid that it's not surprising to hear their live performances described as mesmerizing, evocative, and genuine. The Honey Dewdrops bear the mark of musical maturity- in performance, arrangement, and songwriting.
On their latest album, Tangled Country, each share vocals and guitars, augmented by Parrish's mandolin and Wortman's work on banjo and harmonica.
They have entertained thousands on the stages at Merlefest and other large festivals. You have the opportunity to see and hear them up close and personal at our intimate setting at the Five Oaks clubhouse.
Catch a sample of their artistry here: https://youtu.be/GFcE6k7tz5U
Advanced tickets are only $15 and you can reserve your spot by clicking on the Brown Paper Ticket link below. $20 at the door, if available.
Be there or be square.
