Miklos Kocsars setting of Carl Sandberg poems sets the atmosphere, along with three commissioned pieces and works by Esenvalds, Chilcott, Holst, Britten and more. Amuse is an acclaimed small ensemble founded in 2003 to bring music written for womens voices to New York audiences.
