Brazilian Paula Santoro returns to Portland! Paula Santoro will perform with Latin Grammy nominated pianist Jasnam Daya Singh (aka, Weber Iago). Santoro will sing pieces from her various albums including works by composers Tom Jobim, Baden Powell, Milton Nascimento, and Ian Faquini.

JASNAM DAYA SINGH (WEBER IAGO)
The erudite, Latin-grammy-nominated pianist Jasnam Daya Singh will be special guest. Jasnam has been described as an "artist of rare and insightful genius...who communicates the nuanced delicacy of tone and texture; vivid colour and subtle shade..."
Portland ensemble CHORO DA ALEGRIA will open the show playing Choro music of Brazil (Mandolin, 7 String Guitar, and Pandeiro).
THE VENUE
Classic Pianos Recital Hall is designed for listeners. The intimate and "live" acoustic room makes for a wonderful space to experience the musical talents of these gifted artists.
