Tours of the SS Columbia - Free and Open to the Public
The SS Columbia Project is inviting people aboard the 115-year-old National Historic Landmark vessel Columbia, now docked behind 'Marine A' at Silo City in Buffalo, New York.
Tours will include a walk around the main deck, a peak into the engine room, and a visit to the ballroom on the second deck. SS Columbia crew will talk about the vessel's history, recent hull repairs, current work, and the long-term plans for the vessel.
All tours are free and open to the public. Space is limited to 25 people per tour. Reservations are required.
Note: Visitors wearing flip flops and high-heeled shoes will not be allowed aboard. Access to the ballroom requires walking up and down a set of stairs.
The vessel is not accessible to wheelchairs or walkers.
