Andrew Joslyn and the Passenger Ensemble
Andrew Joslyn, composer, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist is an award-winning musical prodigy whose passion for collaboration has led him to work with a remarkably diverse group of world-class artists. He has toured the world, performing, co-writing and arranging music for the last three Macklemore albums plus a long list of recording and touring credits that include Judy Collins, Kygo, Odesza, Tom Chaplin (Keane) David Bazan, Duff McKagan(Guns & Roses), Kris Orlowski, Brazilian singer-songwriter, Nando Reis, recently nominated for a Latin Grammy, and many others.
Andrews music is best described as Orchestral Pop, sophisticated, magical genre-bending music that touches on a variety of styles. leading the audience on an extraordinary, cinematic musical journey. His Passenger Ensemble including string quartet, other instruments and vocals, will perform selections from his new, very well-received, solo album, Awake at the Bottom of the Ocean, plus other musical surprises that only an artist as unique and engaging as Andrew Joslyn can share with an audience.
Andrew, recently co-wrote, performed strings and arranged horns for pop star Keshas first single, Praying, from her new album, Rainbow, which shot to #1 the first week of release. He has written and performed film scores for two Hollywood films released in 2017, Hickok, starring Luke Hemsworth, Kris Kristofferson and Trace Atkins and American Violence staring Denise Richards and Bruce Dern.
