Five County Community Office Community Office Grand Rounds: An Overview of Trauma-Related Disorders
There have been incredible developments in our knowledge of trauma and related disorders, how to identify and treat them, and the potential impact trauma can have on the whole person. This Grand Rounds will review DSM 5 changes related to trauma disorders and discuss psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological approaches to assessment and treatment. Cultural variations in trauma exposure and responses also will be explored. The discussion will be led by Dr. Nerissa Price, Regional Medical Director and Dr. Jennifer Thomas, Psychologist.
