Somali Dinner at SAFARI
SAFARI is NYC's only Somali restaurant and they are offering this exclusive event as part of the Breaking Bread NYC initiative, which brings people together with cuisine from unfamiliar cultures. The family style meal includes appetizers, an entree, dessert, and some extra special tastes of Somali cuisine. Tickets are all-inclusive (food, tax, and gratuity). The dinner will be hosted by chef/owner Shakib Farah, a refugee whose entrepreneurship exemplifies the hard-working philosophy that has made the U.S. a destination for marginalized people throughout its history.
*A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the International Rescue Committee
