The White Barn once again hosts its gala fundraiser with an evening of opera in our air-conditioned theater and champagne, dinner, and desserts on the lawn. (Scroll down to order tickets.)
The program will recount the lives of turn-of-the 20th century dueling opera divas Nellie Melba (top photo, left), Eva Tetrazzini (middle photo), and Luisa Tetrazzini (bottom photo) in words and song that will pique your curiosity.
Narrated by White Barn trouper Michael Caldarola, this special performance will feature a trio of Napa Valley natives: mezzo-soprano Meghan Scheibal, dramatic coloratura Erica Austin, and lyric soprano Lisa Austin Frisque. Come celebrate the lives of three extraordinary divas who reigned over the opera houses of the world during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
