Urban Agriculture Resources - Connect with funding and training resources for urban ag entrepreneurs, including: Sustainable Local Food Investment Group (SLoFIG), Accion Chicago, The Hatchery, Good Food Accelerator, Farm Asset Builder, Kiva Microloans, and the USDAs Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). Learn about opportunities and emerging possibilities to take your urban farm or garden to another level!
Live Music, Local Beverages, and Beautiful Scenery! Enjoy this opportunity to explore the venue's gorgeous garden while you mix and mingle with others who are interested in urban agriculture. The open bar will feature the locally produced craft work of KOVAL Distillery, Lagunitas Brewing Co, Revolution Brewing, Dark Matter Coffee, and more!
With a network of over 2,000 individuals and organizations, AUA is Chicago's urban agriculture hub. We envision a flourishing food system that promotes urban agriculture in the Chicago area as an integral part of community economic development, food security, environmental sustainability, and overall quality of life for the region, and in which urban agriculture practitioners, businesses, organizations, and residents can reap the benefits. All funds from this event go towards AUA's ongoing advocacy, education, and outreach efforts.
