FRIENDS CALL ME ALBERT
By Zachary Desmond

Meet Albert, a 40-year-old father of two who just wants some spacetime to sit and think. And think. Mostly about light, but also about delicious food, first love, and the fate of humanity. This bio-epic with puppets follows him back and forth through time. When did Albert the man get lost in history to Einstein the icon?

UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS
We hope you'll join us for the following pre- and post-show events!

-Thursday, September 7
Post-show Q&A with director Ryan Emmons and members of the cast and crew

-Saturday, September 9 at 7:30pm: EINSTEIN'S RELATIVITIES
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Brian Levine spent a lot of his childhood at science museums, especially the Hayden Planetarium and more broadly, the American Museum of Natural History.  He now is living the dream as a Program Manager and planetarium presenter at that museum!  His bachelors degree was in Astrophysics, and included some research work on the Hubble Deep Field galaxies.  Additionally, Brian coordinates the NYC chapter of Astronomy on Tap, often MCing and presenting silly, but scientifically sound, talks.  Tonight, he will talk about Einsteins relativities (so called special and general), the curvature, history, and future of the universe, and may relate that all to gravitational lensing.  But bring your questions!  Hes just as happy to divert his topics and answer what he can.

-Sunday, September 10 at 7:30pm: SOUND & PHYSICS + CLOSING NIGHT PARTY!
Astrophysicist Drew Rosen & Friends Call Me Albert composer Enrico de Trizio talk about the interplay of physics and sound, particularly as it relates to de Trizio's choices for the show. They'll also discuss the fundamental difference between sound waves and light waves and sound in space! Plus join us for drinks and desserts after the show for our CLOSING NIGHT PARTY!
